Zeffa

When a tune is blown on the Ocarina of Wind, a bird named Zeffa is summoned. Zeffa will quickly carry the Ocarina's owner over vast distances.

Impa taught Link how to play Zelda's Lullaby on the Ocarina, and hesoon discovered that the tune possessed the power to produce magical effects. According to ancient scrolls, Zelda's Lullaby was played by pressing Left, Up, right, Left, Up, Right.

Zephos is the God of the Winds. Traveling on a floating cloud, the friendly frog communicated frequently with Link throughout his quest on the Great Sea. When Link first met Zephos, the deity provided instructions to Link and told him the story of his wayward brother, Cyclos.

Native to Koholint Island, Zols pop out of the ground to surprise and attack their prey. If they are hit by an enemy, they split into miniature versions of themselves called Gels.

Zola is the name given to any female Zora who turns against Hylians and chooses to live a life of violence. They normally hide underwater, then spit fireballs at anyone who walks by.

Zora Boomerangs

Some Zora are able to manually release their arm fins and use them as projectile weapons which fly through the air like Boomerangs. The most famous Zora to use this technique was Mikau, the skilled guitarist whose body Link inhabited while wearing the Zora Mask.

Zoras

When the Goddesses created Hyrule, they blessed Zora's Fountain and eventually the fish which swam in its water evolved into the Zoras we know today. They are humanoid in form, but the Zoras can survive both underwater and on land. Led by their King, the Zoras are peaceful creatures who enjoy music and sports.

Behind the waterfall at the mouth of Zora's River lies Zora's Domain, home to the Zoras. The landscape is covered with deep blue pools of water, where the Zoras swim in glistening schools. King Zora's chambers lie at the heart of the Zora's Domain.

To the east of Kakariko Village flows a river of sacred water from Zora's Fountain. Known as Zora's River, this narrow waterway leads from Hyrule Field all the way to Zora's Domain. This water source provides nearly 90% of the water supply for Hyrule.

Zora's Sapphire is a Spiritual Stone which, when combined with two others, was once able to open the door to the Golden Land in the Temple of Time. Link recovered the Zora's Sapphire after defeating Barinade inside Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly.
