When Hyrule was created by the three goddesses at the beginning of time, there were certain side effects of its creation which Din, Nayru and Farore did not anticipate. As the three holy women breathed life into the world and chased away Emptiness, their potent breath slipped through tiny cracks in the folds of space and created millions of alternate worlds in the process. One of these worlds became the land known as Termina.
It is possible that we would know nothing of Termina's existence if Link had not been led there by the mischevious actions of Skull Kid. Termina is very similar to Hyrule, but at the same time extremely different.

Clock Town was built in the middle of Termina Field. The greenbelt of the field circles the city and borders just about every type of environment -- a wooded swamp to the south, frozen mountains to the north, roaring oceans to the west, rocky canyons to the east and pastoral farmland down Milk Road to the southwest.

Tetra was the leader of a band of pirates who roamed the Great Sea in search of booty. The salty sea dogs helped Link many times throughout his journey, and Link was always willing to return the favor!

Link encountered Three of a Kind while exploring the Tail Cave and Eagle's Tower on Koholint Island. The Three of a Kind was made up of three individual monsters, each with flashing symbols on its chest. The only way to defeat this unusual team of attackers was to strike each one when the same symbol was displayed on their chests.

One of the eight Instruments of the Sirens, the Thunder Drum has the power to quicken the pulse of anyone who hears its rhythmic call. Link combined the power of the Thunder Drum with the other Instruments of the Sirens to wake the Wind Fish on Koholint Island.
